Episode 60: Leading with Motion (ft. Bi Nguyen)

In this episode of the Tiger Milf Podcast, Jiaoying is joined by legendary MMA fighter Bi “Killer Bee” Nguyen. The two start the podcast off by talking about Bi’s family, her childhood and integration into America, and growing up with 9 siblings. They then talk about their shared experience of creating walls around themselves that create an illusion of toughness when they are actually struggling inside. They share horror stories of trying to be actors in Asia, and how the strict beauty standards there make it impossible to accept roles. Jiaoying talks about how grateful she is to have not started her career in Asia and how she hopes that she can inspire women living in Asia to love themselves. The two discuss how it is completely possible to be highly skilled while also being sexy, and Jiaoying opens up to Bi about her suicide attempt and the feelings that led her to that place. They talk about what kind of men Bi is attracted to and why she hates men who think they are better than her. Bi talks about how she found fighting and how the secret to discovering your passions is to lead with motion and just do something, no matter what it may be, until you find something you love. Jiaoying shares her own story of discovering her talents, and the two laugh about why Asian moms act like hot men. They end the podcast by talking about the moment Bi’s mother finally accepted Bi’s success and why her dad wanted to change her birthday.
