About this episode
In this episode I talk with Safa about racism, the Black Lives Matter movement, and it's relevance to the Middle East.
We also focused on the Kefala System, which has been denounced by many human rights groups as contemporary slavery.
Racism has to be confronted head on, we have to stay engaged, support movements that oppose it and continue to learn more about the issue.
I really hope this episode helps learners continue to engage and confront racism through their studies of Arabic.
Enjoy!
