I have I do have a great with Drake in these streams. And it's not a negative thing. I just wish he would put the stream up right after the stream ends with all these.

11:26Like all like the. Yeah, like I had to do. So I came in halfway through it. And then even with Iceman stream, yeah, there was people that ripped it and then he eventually put the videos out individually. But I wanted to like watch the full stream. And if you usually streams, they'll save. And then you can just click it and start it from the beginning. So the full stream is not available yet on his YouTube? No, and and I don't know if it's UMG. A lot of people have been getting strikes for it. Like I can't even find a bootleg version of it. No. So. I may I may not have a file of my fault. I don't know where to send these send me over the drop box. So I could fully appreciate. But from what I did see and then of course there, you know, people are going to rip every single part of it. So I do feel like I saw the full stream at least twice. I mean, the visuals were really, really good. I like the. The new records sound good again, not on DSP. So it's hard to like gauge the sticking power of like I would love to just listen to them in the car. But we know what that choosing Texas.

12:28What Don Tyler was going to do. Yeah. I mean, every girl in Texas is going to have that on their social media. That song is going to go platinum this fall. This one to that's all you going to hear. I mean, I guess, but what do you think? And I don't know if there's something you've spoken him about. I'm really just asking as a fan. What is the strategy of not putting these five new songs on DSP, especially the remix? Like, I mean, that's the biggest record in the world right now. My guess again, you know, at least yes, we spoke about things, but I didn't ask what the plan of the strategy was. But my guess is, will probably be get but record in Thursday will probably be getting the FOMO tonight. Oh, like on a Friday release like with. Right. He's got. Okay. Okay. So that's just my guess. That's that. That wouldn't make sense. All right. I understand. Yeah. But yeah, like I'd love to give a full full review of these records. But you know, you can't find the stream. It's tough to listen to them again. But what did you think of the visuals as far as like, you know, I thought they were incredible.

13:30I know he said, um, shout out to Theo too, man. Theo's been doing an incredible job. Shout out to the whole. Dream crew team over there. You know, it's the things that they've done and obviously Drake is into this phase and this chapter of his. Of his career. And I'm guessing of his life as well. Where things are now starting to fill independent and it's starting to feel like he has no issue opening his own account to fund his ideas to fund his visions to fund his music. Yeah. Um, well, he's betting like $2 million a night on WMBA games. Well, you think he'd dump some money into a red game. I mean, yeah, like I think that, you know, he has we understand that the position that Drake has worked his self into. And he has the capital to fund any of his ideas, but to actually see an artist at his level. Do it and you know, do it with the people close to him and the people around him.

14:33Um, I think it's just a cool thing to just to watch unfold and watch happening. Yeah. Theo's obviously been doing a lot of his visuals for years now. Um, it's a seat. I'm taking to another level with the whole streaming thing now. Uh, it's just dope to watch happen. And I think that this is something that a lot of creatives should be and are inspired by. And I'm just excited to see, you know, where he takes him into this next chapter. Yeah. Um, I was going to ask because I know he said it was directed and put together by the guys. I think was what he said on Instagram, but I was going to ask if Theo, because I know Theo has been with him for a really long time and feels a super talented director. Uh, I think that's, I think this version of visuals is Drake's lane. Like, remember the short film jungle around the time, uh, if you read this too late, like I thought that was Drake's strongest visual representation at that time. I think he's had visually some great ones like hell, yeah, fucking right. Love that video. Mm hmm. I think Kanye really fucked up best I ever had. Like sometimes Drake's visuals could be hit or miss.

15:33Mm hmm. Um, but I think this short film version, what he did with Iceman, like the jungle one in this art, his lane when it comes to visuals. This was shy. It was like a 24 type cinematography. Like they, they killed this on the visual side. I thought it was really, really good. I like to call backs to because I'm, I enjoy now watching people get overly upset as being one of the people that did say, Hey, I want to see Drake mature more. I've now turned to the person that likes to laugh at you guys freaking out when he goes to hot topic with a goth girl. Mm hmm. I like leaning to it. Yeah. I'm leaning show up to your house. It's fucking funny to me. But that's, I think that's, that's part of it. That's part of the whole like, you know, just for years, he's heard he's corny. Mm hmm. He needs to mature. I think that he's realized that no matter what he does, people are going to have an issue with it. Yeah. So obviously he's done something right in his career. Obviously he's made the right decisions. Some he probably looks back in which he would have did differently, but for the most part, Drake has got it right. So I think all of these visuals are kind of like leaning to that of, you know,

Like just, you know, I'm saying in my big ass house with sexy red coming out to perform in my bedroom. Like I'm going to do exactly what it is that I want to do. Yeah. There's nothing that y'all can tell me. There's nothing that y'all could say that's going to make me feel like you think I'm corny. Okay, watch this. Watch how corny I can really be. I feel like with music videos, you hear like people like, oh, videos don't matter anymore. It's not so much they don't matter. It's that music videos now have to compete with in a 24 or the amount of incredibly shot shows we get on Netflix per week with the most insane budgets ever.

17:42Yes, it's tough to grab someone's attention that has access to all of that with a three-minute $50,000 budget video. Right. It's really tough. So because Drake has put himself in a position where he can't afford all these things, I do appreciate that as someone that likes visuals that he is still cares about that in something that's kind of like a dead art to some degree. Right. Because obviously not every artist can do it at this level. So it's nice to see the people that can do it. Do it. Well, I appreciate it the stream. He's still had he has some tidbits in there. Some of the, you know, the shirt he had on and hot topic, the nine kill shirt. They have a song called The Jigs Up. So that was like a kind of little low east to egg. He put that one. Oh, I didn't catch that one. Oh, is there a, did what, what's the dirt put it our video about a Jay Z. I mean, I'm probably dirt. I'm joking. Oh, he is. He's putting it together. He's probably still working. But, you know, I didn't catch that. Thank you for, for telling me that.

18:43But that's why I had, you know, I had tweeted out attention to details because, you know, at this point, everything is going to be intentional with Drake. Yeah, even him putting it, you know, it's a lot of the backdrops from some of his videos in the past. All of that has meaning to it. Like, nothing is just, you know, I'm just doing this just to do it. Everything now I think is intentional and has a meaning and a message behind it. A lot of it is, you know, him just having fun and doing whatever the fuck he wants to do. But he's still going to have those moments where it's like, you know, if you catch that or if you caught that, then cool. Yeah. I liked, I forgot what record it was. Whichever was like the solo stuff in the carnival fair type stuff. That was before the Iron Man stuff, just that individual stuff. I thought it was just shot really cool. It actually kind of reminded me of you for you. Mm-hmm. I like a lot. Yeah. I like that visual. I like it. We were talking off my, you think it's sick to ride a roller coaster by yourself.

19:45I've done that plenty of times. I think a roller coaster at night by yourself and I'll text Drake and I call them a maniac. I said, you're a fucking maniac. Like what, bro, and you can look at that scene. You can tell he was really scared. It's not that crazy, bro. Look at how hard he was gripping up those handlebars. And you know, it's honestly, it's very clear at this point that, you know, he chooses to do it by himself. Yeah. He also speaks to him, obviously, moving it to what I believe is a level of independence.

21:46Like I'm going to do this by myself. But there's a flip side to that point of you bringing it up. It doesn't look that fun when you do isolate yourself at the funnest place in the world. Yeah. Now you just have to fare a little in business. I think it's a great thing. Cartman did that in South Park. Stole all the butter's money and how do you remember that? How is that on your brain? I do think that because we talked about it, we went to the last few Drake shows and we talked about it years ago, just visually production wise what he was doing with his shows. I think that this tour might be an entirely different level of production as far as what the show looks like. Yeah. And just what the catalog is. Because I mean, obviously he would be touring the three albums that just came out, but you also have a 20 year career. Like now you're well, well, well into the legacy act shit where it's like, no, I want to hear records from 2010 too while you're out here. But I mean, I don't see why not. But Drake wouldn't do a stadium like get all the fog in all the nonsense that has been said over the past few years with everything. But the last Drake tour, he did a whole week at Manus Square Garden, a whole week at Barclays. Yeah. I think that adds up to a fucking stadium. Like, do you think he does something like every night in each city, he does multiple shows

29:00and every night is a different, a different set, a different thing? That would be, I mean, I think he's the one artist that could do fire. That would be super fire. Also saw, I mean, I know that Australian tour got pushed back. But didn't he have like multiple stages at the one in Australia? Yeah. With like different eras, like I think something like that could be cool to go through where you do that per night. But yeah, if he were to do arenas, I would prefer that style. 49:35for putting yourself in the same situation over and over, hoping that it would be different this time. And at some point it's like, well, maybe you like that, you know, rollercoaster that. Yeah, do you like the ups and downs and you like the reconciliation, like coming back to this person and how it makes you feel having that new feeling over and over again after y'all break up and then get back to you. But that's a human thing. I think you know, I've been continuing to put ourselves in situations, I say all the time, sometimes you're just socially lazy. You don't want the whole process of meeting somebody new, having to learn, getting used to their fair amounts. Like, it's just like, it's just too much. Like, I don't want to keep going through that. I'd rather go back to somebody that, I'm comfortable with that I know we have history, hoping that this time the outcome is different. We get it right this time. But you know, after a while it's like, in that situation ain't good for you though. It's not going to change. And I mean, not to be too deep. And again, Janay, I know you're not listening, but this is all healthy conversation.

50:36We're not, we don't know if this really has any problems. We're just using the lyrics and everything, and applying it to our life. What gets really fucked up, because usually why you always go back to that person is because they get it to your point. Social laziness, this person knows me, they know everything about me. She's detached herself from any type of emotions and anything that it comes when it comes to you. So yeah, I think that's when you have, that's when you know that the relationship is done. When a woman starts talking like that. Do you think most women know that about men? That yeah, sometimes it hurts when you guys call us bitches and bring up things we told you in confidence to use against us and that's why your dad left. That doesn't hurt as much as just being peaceful and going like, I'm not mad at you. You are who you are. I'm cool. That's things way more. Like if you really want that punishment of letting a nigga know that you've healed on and moved on, then emotionally, then you have to actually leave and not come back. 57:44I think that was the photo song for her daughter. Like I feel like that's like more feel good toward like the bottom. I feel like she tore her ex up in the beginning and it's like, oh, by the way, new nigga. We happy. We bought me like, doing like, yeah. That's how it feel. Why don't you release that hurt? Like, you know what, I'm not mad at you. No, that's true. You can't miss handled in myself. Let me go. That's what's up. Handle myself the right way and hand the handlebars to another nigga. I mean, if if Sean is going to respond to anything, I don't, you know, I don't think he will. I don't think it'll come because one of those back and forth things, I don't see a big Sean and Janay going through anything like that. And he cleared her, she found out he cleared a Baker cop. Yeah. He did good. Like those movies, the one with Taraji when Taraji gets, he cheats on Taraji and Taraji gets into a car accident, loses her ability to have a child and then nigger move on with a new bitch and Taraji go crazy and like stalk them and kill them. That one's good. The one with Brandy, Brandy gets AIDS.

Which cutie thought was a private conversation between the two of them at a dinner and he didn't know he was going to go on a podcast. So cutie tweeted out right before we hit record. Ibro you were sitting next to me at dinner not planned and we're having a private conversation. I was being friendly because you were sitting next to me, not an interview. You are thirsty. I think you were speaking about conversations publicly is classless and I do not respect you any longer. I spoke to you thinking you really just wanted to talk. You just wanted a story. I learned a valuable lesson. Never talk to a journalist unless it's for an actual interview. Good thing Zane has a million times more class than you. You think I would repeat anything we talk about in private? I'm going to defend it. But at the same time, I understand why somebody would say that because it happens. You have personal private conversations with people and they think that it's literally, it goes without saying that I don't want you to repeat any of this on your platform. And then you literally go back and repeat it on your platform. So I understand, you know, cutie, like I spoke to you because we would sit next to each other. And I thought that we would just get it because here we are sitting next to each other as men.

I didn't think that I was speaking into a microphone and that, you know, I was speaking into a recorder and everything that I'm saying is going to be repeated on a platform in a couple of days. But that would be because I knew that that was okay to repeat that. So that's what I'm asking you. But I would, but this thing, oh, no, no, no, you, you know, you know, I agree. You know, you know, the things to like, you know, even even like, and I felt some type of way about this, even one time we were somewhere and somebody was like, not going to repeat his name, not going to say his name, but he was, we were having a conversation and he was talking about another rapper and he said something about the rapper. And then he turned to listen to me, it was like, yo, don't repeat that. Tell me a little more. And I, I felt the way about that. Cause I was like, like, you think that I would repeat what you just said, like, but I understand why he, cause that would have turned into something crazy. I don't know what I mean. So I understand that. But I did feel a way about that. I was like, I used to get offended by that. Even I've had it even worse where not just don't repeat it. I've been in the studio sessions where people were like, let me chill.

1:42:45It was a podcast around here. I'm like, I'm not, but I understand it. But I've learned before it used to be a trigger. Related. That's what you really think that I'm like, I told you I understand it. I understand it. I used to feel away. I used to be like, yo, that's crazy. That you can even think I'm that type of person. But now I just kind of like, it comes with the territory. It comes with the position like I get it. Yeah. And that's honestly just in real life too, even before I podcasted, just regular shit with people. I've realized like you tell somebody a secret and you think that that would be something that they naturally wouldn't repeat. And then they'll be, they'll repeat it. Like, oh, I didn't know that that was a, so now no matter what, I'd be like, off the record. Or don't tell them I said this between me and you was my favorite between me and you, between me and you. I mean, I do not repeat this anytime. It's like you can get offended up to the cutie e-ro situation, less with like the personal ones that you're saying. I'll maybe hit them on a month. Like if we had a conversation at a dinner on Friday, I'll hit them maybe Monday morning. Like, yo, I know we spoke about this. You cool if I say this part, this part.

1:43:47Like I'll triple check that stuff to make sure it's, it's okay. But I mean, I know I'm sure a lot of listeners, especially these days with how they've been treating fucking like Rob Markman and Charlotte Maine and everyone like holding shit down is not compromise journalism. If you have a private conversation with kid cutie at a dinner about something that is a hot topic, you're not a compromise journalist because you hold that down and don't run to the microphone that doesn't make you compromise. Because I could see people flipping that like, well, e-ro is a journalist. He's doing his job. He's not tempted. Then he's compromised. No, he's not. That's a private conversation. They shit that you out. Tees me with a nods thing. Of course, there was private conversations at the nods thing that would never bring up on a fucking microphone. You just know certain things. You just don't say that doesn't make you compromised. You just have somewhat of a relationship with that person, which if you're a great journalist, you can use to the public's benefit because they'll come to you with trustworthy information because they know you're not going to do some weird shit. And when it's time to actually talk about certain things, they'll talk to you.

1:44:50So yeah. A lot of this compromised journalism shit that being used in hip hop like those terms, they don't even really apply to hip hop. They apply to compromise journalism as applying to stuff that affects the American people when it's time for them to vote. If you know that somebody is lobbying against something and they pretending that they're for that cause, that's compromised journalism because people's lives are affected by this. We did not need to notice information about Kuddy. It did not affect any of our lives. That's not compromised fucking journalism. You didn't know that Jay Z. Rock Nation is a political donor to Rob Markman. Like it's just like it be dumb shit. If a person compromised journalism, if you're a reporter, as if you know that so and so was touching on somebody and you held that down, you ain't you ain't telling the way. Now you're just a compromised fucking weird. Now you're a compromised person, but that's compromised journalism if you claim to be a hip hop journalist. Like it also he may be a hip hop journalist, but his podcast does not is not all journalism. It's a lot of like gossip, fun opinions.
