Episode 462: He Was A Bucket

Justin and Dan start the show by breaking down Johni Broome’s season-best performance in Auburn’s 12-point win over Georgia at home. They discuss the Broome vs. Flagg debate in the National Player of the Year race and dissect what was a virtually perfect second half to spark the Tigers’ offense to elite efficiency.

The guys also talk about all the similarities between Auburn’s win over Georgia and the win over Arkansas this week, starting with the game flow and the lack of outside shooting inside Neville Arena. Justin shares why the Tigers’ second-half defense shouldn’t be cause for concern. Dan highlights the Turtle Hudson minutes.

After shouting out some non-Observer sports that are standing out for Auburn in recent days, the guys take a look around the rest of SEC basketball’s Saturday action and set the stage for the final two weeks. They preview Auburn’s rematch against Ole Miss on Wednesday night and give some Grubserver thoughts to close it out.
