Episode 45: Black Canyon 100k Recap with Katie Asmuth
About this episode
Today, Hilary Yang sits down with Katie Asmuth to talk about all things Black Canyon race weekend. Katie ran the 100K, and while she was going for a golden ticket and trying to shoot her shot, the day did not go according to plan. However, they were able to dissect the race and understand where it went wrong and pull out a lot of things that hopefully you all will find applicable to your own races! They got into the weeds with talking about nutrition strategy, gear, fueling, and all of the things that can go wrong and how we can reframe our race days when they don't go according to plan. Katie also talks about staying curious during your race to troubleshoot when things to go to plan.
