Episode 44: Coming to America (ft. Atsuko Okatsuka)

In this episode of the Tiger Milf Podcast, Jiaoying is joined by world-renowned comedian Atsuko Okatsuka. They talk about Atsuko’s experience coming to the US as an 8 year old and why she didn’t call herself a comedian until much later in her already-successful career. They also talk about Jiaoying’s journey to self-love and what it’s like to grow up with Asian parents versus white parents. Jiaoying opens up to Atsuko about her struggles with balancing her career and her kids while managing her alcohol consumption. Atsuko talks about how every Japanese family has their own Marie Kondo, as well as her experience going home to perform in Taiwan and Japan. They end the podcast by talking about how wonderful it is to make people laugh, especially in a language that isn’t even your own.
