About this episode
Justin, Dan and Painter recap Auburn football’s 14-10 heist of a win against Cal. The guys praise the defense for a surprising and game-winning performance before switching over to a brutal offensive showing — save for the late, go-ahead touchdown drive in the fourth quarter.
They discuss what made things look so rough for Auburn on offense and what might need to change for the Tigers to have any chance at survival in SEC play. Justin asks a pressing question about the scheme. Dan keeps finding parallels to 2017. Painter keeps the faith in one particular area of the offense.
Toward the end of the episode, Dan gives his report from Texas’ win over Alabama in Tuscaloosa. The guys then look at a rough weekend of SEC football, from Texas A&M’s high-scoring loss at Miami to some near-disasters in paycheck games.
