đ Episode 300: Big wins come from small steps done daily.
About this episode
Todayâs episode is something special.
Itâs not just our 300th episodeâitâs one full year of showing up every single workday, plus bonus recaps at the end of every month.
When I started Good Morning, Money, I didnât set out to build a top-ranking podcast. Honestly, I just wanted to help my CFA Society members start their day with a quick, money-focused thoughtâsomething on mindset, marketing, or a reminder to keep going.
I kept it shortâjust one minuteâbecause letâs be honest:
Nobody can say, âI donât have one minute to invest in myself.â
Thatâs the power of consistency. No excuses.
But then something unexpected happenedâŠ
Less than a month in, I checked the analytics for the first timeâand I was stunned.
Thousands of new listeners. Every single day.
Over 11,600 subscribers.
And the podcast was ranking as a top show... without us even realizing it.
I told my team. One of them laughed and said, âThat canât be subscribers. Thatâs probably just a file size.â
But it was real.
It was present.
And in that moment, I knew: this podcast wasnât just for my community anymore. It had a life of its own.
Of course, it hasnât all been smooth.
There was a day we almost lost every single episodeâexcept for one. I can still feel that panic.
But we brought it back. Because by then, I understood how many people counted on this. It had become part of their day.
So today, I want to leave you with three lessons from 300 episodesâthe same lessons that kept me going, and that I hope help you too:
1. Consistency Beats Everything
There were days I questioned it.
Should I spend this time finding a new client instead?
But I reminded myself:
The difference between those who succeed and those who donât... is simply showing upâespecially when motivation fades.
Consistency builds something bigger than short-term results.
It builds something that can outlast you.
2. Small Actions Create Big Impact
One minute doesnât seem like much.
But when people listen every morningâŠ
And they share itâŠ
And talk about itâŠ
The ripple effect is huge.
Financial literacy grows.
People feel empowered.
And together, we make the economy strongerâone tip at a time.
3. Keep It Simple
Money can feel intimidating.
But it doesnât have to be.
In every episode, I use plain languageâso anyone can understand.
Even if English isnât your first language.
Even if finance isnât your field.
Because when you simplify, people listen.
And when people listen, they grow.
If this podcast has been part of your morningsâthank you.
If youâve ever thought, âThatâs exactly what I needed today,â I want to invite you to take the next step.
Leave a quick review or share this episode with someone you care about. Help us grow this ripple effect.
Join CafĂ© Societyâour community where we take these ideas further. We meet face-to-face on Zoom, strategize, and make sure youâre not just learning about moneyâbut using it to create real growth.
Thank you again for 300 episodes.
Thank you for showing up.
And hereâs to Year Two.
Weâll keep growingâone sip of success at a time.
