About this episode
Thank you for joining us for another episode of the Low Carb MD Podcast. Tom Seest grew up in the middle of Illinois in a small town and, due to high sugar consumption, ended up weighing 350 pounds by the time he was in college. Though he lost over 100 pounds by the time he got married, due to stress and other factors he gained all the weight back and then some. Thanks to a friend's suggestion, he decided to give the Atkins diet a try. After some dietary research and experimentation, Tom found himself on a ketogenic diet and has lost a LOT of weight since then.
