There are three things that affect performance at scale. I call them the three ‘P’s. Past, Permission and Perfection.

The master skill is to teach your teams how to let go of the way they’ve always done things (and the certainty that comes with it), the need to ask for permission or approval on every decision and intention (and the certainty that comes with it), and the need to do things perfectly before you show them to the world (and the certainty that comes with it).
