About this episode
Thank you for joining us for another episode of the Low Carb MD Podcast. Daniel Wiseman (aka. @SteakAndIron on Twitter) has been practicing and promoting the Low Carb Diet for many years. As a young man, he encountered numerous health issues which caused him to begin exploring the world of dieting. This journey ultimately led him to the discovery of low-carb dieting and he has been going strong ever since.
In this episode, Brian, Tro, and Daniel talk about junk food, the struggle of living the keto life with a sweet tooth, getting dietary advice from 4Chan, the importance of dietary self-experimentation, the anthropological/historical perspective on the natural human diet, tribalism within dietary communities, dietary virtue signaling, and environmental vs genetic factors in obesity and diabetes.
