About this episode
Thank you for joining us for another episode of the Low Carb MD Podcast. Jason Jodway is a man who has been on a wild journey of weight loss, having lost over 315 pounds! At one point, he weighed over 500 pounds. Due to his resolve and determination to regain his health and achieve a healthy weight, he was able to overcome the bad nutrition advice, lifelong obesity, and lack of good information that was holding him back.
In this episode, Tro and Jason discuss growing up as the fat kid in school, coping mechanisms used to deal with the stress of being overweight, the shame and guilt involved in being an overweight person with food addiction, how Jason discovered the low carb diet by examining the research for himself, the power of satiety, controlling your food environment for success, stress induced binge eating and tips for avoiding it.
