Ellen McCloy has been working exclusively with pediatric nephrology patients since 2014. She began her pediatric career in Detroit and has spent the last 8 years working at Children’s Hospital Los Angeles which has the largest pediatric dialysis center in the US. Her clinical areas of interest include malnutrition and nutrition support in pediatric nephrology patients across the spectrum from CKD to ESRD. In addition to her clinical work, she is the Dietetic Internship Director at CHLA, one of only 9 pediatric dietetic internships in the country. She is passionate about fostering a positive and encouraging learning environment for both interns and preceptors.
