Ifra Khan is a labor and delivery travel nurse stationed in San Jose, CA. She grew up in Texas and attended Texas Women's University to study Biology, not knowing exactly what she wanted to do as a career. While at TWU, she decided to ditch Biology and switch to nursing. After graduating nursing school, she found her calling as a labor and delivery nurse. Ifra was working in the field for six years in Dallas, TX before she decided to pull the trigger and switch to being a travel nurse. She landed her dream job as a labor and delivery nurse in the Bay Area. Ifra gives an overview of her career so far and gives advice for any aspiring nurse/travel nurse.
