About this episode
The MAP boys spend some time with Bob Tewksbury, a former major league pitcher, who played 18 years of professional baseball (13 in The Show). Bob played for the Yankees, Cubs, Cardinals, Rangers, Padres and Twins. Bob has the second lowest ratio of base on balls per innings pitched for any starting pitcher to pitch in the major leagues since the 1920s. After winning 110 games and making the All-Star team in 1992, Bob retired from baseball and earned his master's degree in sports psychology and counseling from Boston University. He has worked as a mental skills coach for three of MLB's storied franchises (Red Sox, Giants and Cubs) and some of the game's best players including Jon Lester, Rich Hill, Andrew Miller and Anthony Rizzo.
