About this episode
On Halloween night of 2004 in Napa, California: two young women roommates -- a beauty queen and an engineering graduate -- are brutally stabbed by an intruder who entered their home through a first-floor window. But there is a third roommate, Lauren Meanza, who heard the attack happening, never saw the killer, and remained unharmed. The murders of Leslie Mazzara and Adriane Insogna remained unsolved while investigators pursued all angles from a satanic cult to a disgruntled suitor. After 11 months someone came forward with a shocking confession. Was it someone who knew the victims? And who was close enough to the women to escape suspicion? Grab a cold one and let’s get into it!
