Episode 132 - Jasmyn Ellis
About this episode
Jasmyn @jasmynellis is a pro in the PR world and a presence in any room. Today we talked about life in Edmonton, Toronto and Vancouver. We talked about her being able to feel like herself, the best version. We talked about going after things that your gut is saying to go after and not wasting too much time thinking about it.
It's important to have that ability to show up to all of your connections feeling empowered. In any connection, it works two ways, your words, your actions, and your emotions you share.
We talked about what life was like as the daughter of a professional athlete growing up as a black girl in a white community. We talked about the clarity she found on a spin bike and how much she wanted everyone else to be able to get that as well.
We talked about her purpose for being someone who ensures that there IS diversity in this world. We talked about how living by yourself in the middle of a pandemic is REALLY hard.
There was a lot of real talk in this episode, plenty of happy moments and tonnes of learning. I hope you enjoy this one!
