Yep minute ago and how It's one of those things where I got to stop But yeah, otherwise Otherwise kind of the same I had first of my drafts Yesterday Yeah, how many leagues are you in or I think that's too much? I have my actual league that I care about it's full of people I know I have a Creator league that I'm in I have The BFG league and I have a work league. That's a lot. Well, I am now in the BFG league apparently sweet

3:09The work league was get this 16 picks Which is not horribly unusual Plus flex so So it's a full roster plus felt plus flex and I shit you not there are 14 people in this league That's too much I Just don't know I just don't know like We're we're in like round five and I'm like I just auto draft because I have to these people are still in college They haven't even fucking signed yet Like I'm just out of people to pick so Wow, yeah, I I'm only in two I've been in one league for like 15 years It's started with a bunch of us that played Xbox together now There's only two of us left and like I told you before dude the fun thing is It's a league full of fucking Philadelphia Eagles fans. So They're gonna love my fucking name this year. Yeah, they're gonna love my name this year

4:13But I have the draft for that tomorrow and then I'd I'd gonna be joining the BFG league Silence or sip it to me and I click joined the league and it took me to the app But it shows my other league in there. So I got to figure that out You should be able to swipe are you a spandes you should be able to swipe back and forth between leagues? Oh, is that how you do that? Like on the home screen you just go Nope, I'm losing this league switch. Oh my days back Yeah, no, um, so yeah, no, I posted my draft results from from last night and I'm just like There's a little rough Yeah, oh and I was picking seventh. So it's kind of like that's that's that's awful Seventh out of 14 with Just Here's here's here's why I think that either the very first spot or the last spot are the two best spots Especially in a snake draft

5:14While you get the first spot you got to go 10 spots and then another nine back to you You'll get two more so you'll get you'll get one pick it'll go back down and then back to you get another pick You know what I'm saying you the last spot you can get two picks in a row Yeah, no, I get I get it But in the middle you get fucked Yeah, well in the middle you get you get a better balance But in the last spot you basically are skipping every other round so you only get you get the first pick but then you only get two third place picks Because everybody whose second place is your second round is gone unless you have somebody who screws up and let somebody drop Like you know my home's dropping to the 14th round in my sleeve Yeah, man, it never fails. I get people like that and they have a dog shit here So I'm horrible you're dude, you can't run anymore. He tours ACL and he's not back a hundred percent

6:15He's in the bucket pass or he sucks at that. I had Lamar Jackson. I think it was Two years ago or after no, I had him last year and the year before he threw for like 4,000 yards He got a bunch of touchdowns. He didn't do shit last year. Yeah, every time every fucking time I get somebody like that That's what happens or they get hurt or whatever. It's a crap shit. It's gambling. Let's be honest It's just statistical gambling. It really is it is, but it's fun as hell I love it I mean, but we as humans get to act like we're applying skill to making decisions on something We have no control over that whose outcome is completely random and so you know We get to have to have fun right and then we get to do things like I really need this team to score like nine touchdowns But they can't win the game and And the other teams quarterback can only get two two touchdowns and under a hundred yards So it's got to be all running backs, but it has to be the second string running back while the first string running back

7:17And the other team does most of the you know can't touch the ball either Right and you're like all right Dude I got to tell you if I Can't tell you how many times over 15 years that the Cowboys have fucked me in one way or another in the playoffs Either a I have a cowboy player who doesn't do what they're supposed to do Or be I have a running back in Ligeret Blunt who's going against the Cowboys who hadn't been able to stop the run all year And they held him to like 56 yards and I ended up losing in the finals because of that like it never fails They do the exact opposite of what I need him to do and I'll take cowboy players like if they're the towards the top of their position And that's kind of what's left I'll do it But I don't do it on purpose like I'm not a homer like that. I want to win the only thing is I'll never take Eagles players ever again I took two of their receivers last year knowing who their quarterback is. I should have never done that That was a mistake. 8:19But I Yeah, you know what I think you know what I think fantasy football needs that would really make you know Manager retention better if you say skill base matchmaking. I'm gonna kill you bro It should dynamically adjust your schedule based on your skill She's so pretty It's crazy how like that's been such a big topic over this Over the beta what let's go ahead and just get into it's still a big topic over the beta. Yeah But you know, it's the thing everyone still wants to talk about So all right, we'll talk about the matchmaking here a little bit overall What what at now that we've had two weekends of the beta? What what are your thoughts? What are your likes and dislikes? Start the likes because I feel like that's probably going to be a shorter list Well, I feel like we need to have we need to split this into two covers two sides of it because there's two weekends to the beta The closed weekend was last week. We talked about that in the prod previously

9:23Last episode And then there was last weekend where they made a lot of fundamental changes and a lot of adjustments And so it does in some ways play completely different. So I feel like a lot of things need to be kind of Put in that are we talking about weekend one or weekend two kind of thing But if I were to summarize weekend one it was fine It wasn't like you know, it felt like a return to a modern warfare game. It felt like how modern warfare games have played forever Which I think is you know generally to me it's a positive I prefer modern warfare over black ops as anybody who's tuned into this channel Or my Twitter account for five minutes or more knows Um, and then weekend two they fucked it all up and now it plays like dog shit and the only two guns you can use are a marksman rifle or a shotgun Everything else is fucking trash and you don't need to bother it was all in force in my lobbies That's all pretty much anybody. Oh, and you need three people to play with you because you have to run as a three or four stack

10:26Otherwise, you will just be gunned by three shotguns to the face. So You know, I tweeted this this week. There's the hallmarks of a Infinity Ward title and it's you know basically to paraphrase it's You know a lot of shit at the end of the muzzle, you know where you can't see I don't know if you saw Brax's video and people are like well he's iron sides. He should have a optic buddy I hate to break it to you. He's playing the beta which you do not get custom weapons in you and either way You should still be able to see what you're fucking shooting at no So there's that they always have like just nonsense and clutter at the end of the barrel and and make it hard to see and what you're shooting Um, you know, and the other thing is is they have a fast TTK with like movement penalties which are very frustrating um, you know in general and I mean That I feel like that's kind of what we got the second week even though they said they made adjustments to the TTK

11:27I sure felt like I got hit markers a ton and got deleted Well, yeah, I mean they they made adjustments to the TTK by nerfing all of the guns except for shotguns and marksman rifles Which is why the only guns you should be using or shotgun or a marksman rifle and you should either be standing at the back with the marksman rifle Running around with a marksman rifle with no optic on it or running with a shotgun Which by the way On on the on the itty bitty teeny tiny yellow polka dot bikini maps we have Is fun Because hopping around in one shotting somebody in the fucking nuts only to hear The proximity chat go off About another son of a bitch with a shotgun Well, it's so I mean you know It was a tip things to it It was out of hand like so I played yesterday and Dude at one point I think there was like four or five matches in a row where really

12:32Seemed like every death I had was from somebody fucking quick scoping with either that marksman rifle or that Vulcan and it was and and what's irritating about that And and I honestly I believe quick scoping is a skill. It's not easy to do not everyone can do it Um, but it's frustrating when you're putting rounds into somebody and then they're able to just quick scope you one tap in your dead Like the disparity there. I think is what's really frustrating to me about that Mm-hmm. I tweeted that one time at her somebody in phases thing and boy if you think that that whole fucking community didn't come out to come after me Oh my god It was worse than my doctor disrespect thing from a couple weeks ago. Yeah, I mean I don't know if they so okay, let's let's let me back up because When they say they mess with the TT when they say they changed the TTK what they actually did is they changed all of the

13:36They nerfed guns is what they did they didn't give more health so they they nerfed the guns which was One way to do it. However You have to remember that marksman rifles sniper rifles and shotguns all one shot within their intended ranges Right in marksman rifle ranges aren't exactly you know constrained by map size And so when you have these marksman rifles and you have like like you can't nerf ARs and expect to be able to compete with marksman rifles because again, it's a call of duty. There's no such thing as flinch um There is what I'm getting shot at trying to snipe. I got all kinds of fucking flinch. Not on marksman rifles On anything dude it doesn't matter marksman rifles carry um carry aim assist Adios Marshmereffles do sniper rifles do not so The sniper the the aim assist will generally counteract most of the flinch so you can still get a center mass shot off usually

14:38If you're getting shot as long as you keep moving and you don't stand still If you stay if you plant your feet you're gonna get Top but you know it is what it is but um Yeah, no, yeah sniper rifles are definitely doable Um, yeah, I don't know it's just They balanced it by nerfing automatics which of course just removes them from the viable weapons pool And everybody adapts by just running shotguns Which don't get me wrong if you're the only running that if you're the only one in a small map running a shotgun It's a blast because it just pisses everybody off Um, but if you're trying to run an smg or an AR And you're going toe-to-toe with somebody who one shots and they just have to be close enough like you're gonna lose a lot of that And and as a result the people that do run smgs were running in groups of three or four on a six person team Like I don't think I fought one person at a time

15:40Unless they happen to get killed by some you know their partners were being killed by somebody else But like almost every single fight was 1v3 1v4 and then and it wasn't like they just I ran into their spawn and there they were It's like they are running as a pack almost exclusively So it just destroyed the enjoyment of it and wars on those wars Um Last week in warzone baited came out and and they definitely They definitely messed with Not only the weapon the weapon balance but the the aim assistant warzone was was radically changed Uh to the point where it was like I went I started going back and forth between the two modes Um, just to feel the difference and warzone was just Felt miserable to play because not only are you know, so it's like Again a lot of players overcame the fact that they

16:40Now had a harder time staying on target hitting their shots because of the aim assist changes They just said okay Well, we'll just run as a squad and again you're 1v4ing an entire squad that are so close together Brax posted a video of this that was pretty much how I ran into it because I don't have anybody on it those hours Um We're just like four guys piling through a doorway Just absolutely annihilating you And it's like Cool And then you regain and when you try to get a new gun you run into a different squad of four guys all together Running through the door pile driving it There there were a couple matches like that for me too I went on one match because I had Three teammates that just bowled in Spanish and then two of them quit And I won one and Seven before the first circle closed

17:42Because everywhere you went to land there was a squad and there was never more than or never fewer than three of them together So together not like oh you're on well Yeah You know I went on a run like that when I first started playing because I played the beta The the resurgence beta you know I'm not a resurgence player and I have remember hearing myself say like two or three times I don't know why anyone likes this fucking mode like I you can't regain dude You can't you know like Bucke and First of all, I feel like that map feels a little small while it's not a terrible map It just feels kind of confined even when you try to drop on the outside and you know Just kind of looted up and get some weapons and stuff like that like Dude it was I had at least two matches like that and then we then I ended up putting it together and we got some kills and And a couple wins in a row and everything but like Holy shit dude

18:43People were stacking like I mean they're doing that in multiplayer too Really bad yeah, yeah dude Nothing pisses me off more than to get killed by somebody and then it spawns me in front of them again so they can kill me again Like that shit happened several times yeah or if I killed somebody and it spawns them behind me right Yeah, I wasn't one bad. Why the fuck would you not want to hear footsteps? I don't understand the logic there. Well, that's why dude when they put Ninja in the last game as a perk or whatever Or dead silence or whatever the fuck dude. I'd started what I started just listening to my music when I play Yeah, what's the point? Yeah, everybody's yeah, yeah, I won't do that in warzone though I won't do that in warzone or research. I don't have my music on there. Yeah. Yeah, I don't need the rest of it either I just want to hear gunshots and footsteps too and and everything so all right, so I've seen a few of your tweets are you How are you feeling about modern warfare for now after you've played two weekends of the beta? Oh shit

19:50You're not even a Biden launch. I mean maybe a way well So I actually I just submitted for my pto for the october 23rd. I'm taking off launch day. Okay, and You know what's awesome is is now my kids are on a four day school week So I don't have to deal with taking to school or picking up or anything so I can get up Go get my workout done and then hop on the fucking game and be on the game all day by the day Yeah, and that's that's that's what I'm gonna do I mean, I'm planning so my feeling is is despite everything I said After two years of triark, which I don't hate triark, but after two years of that. This is kind of a welcome change for me Especially because I think it's gonna get more of my friends back on the game you know and I mean are there things that I don't like about it for sure there are and I'm definitely going to voice those so Just FYI the stop complaining crowd. You know like I've told you several times you can kiss my ass

20:51I'm gonna tell you how I feel about the game. You don't like it hit the fucking mute button something, but no, I mean I think I'm looking forward to it. I mean I still would write it as a seven out of a ten Um, you know, it was it was a decent experience. I mean again I felt mostly like the things that frustrated me were like Getting so many hit markers just to get absolutely fucking deleted by the same gun That I'm using um Yeah, that's absolutely jade. So Whatever what up jt. Yeah, well, I think that a lot of their issues though. I mean honestly a lot of the issues come from just just the way um infinity ward like they're they're mindset on things to be honest because I think Chad's right like Technically like I didn't see a lot of glitches or a lot of bugs with it. No, it's just their philosophy It's their philosophy on what they do with you know all the junk at the end of the barrel a fast TTK

21:52You know movement penalties like not being able to reload while I'm sprinting. Oh my god that pisses me off so fucking bad It's something that piss me off. No, you still can't fucking do it. Do you tell me bad? Hey Now show me the aim assist for all those titles. Probably it's we it was weaker aim assist with a faster TTK right weaker aim assist faster TTK and fucking now you got aim assist where you can aim with no fucking thumbs and A fast TTK that sucks. I'd never said it wasn't there. I said it wasn't a sticky That's what I just said if all intents and purposes aim assist yes, but when you have Other settings like you just mentioned and other things that help you stay on target It's more or less the same goddamn thing. We're getting into fucking semantics people know it's shooting is more straight now Then it was then so having a fasting Well, it doesn't holding board. It doesn't matter. That's semantics Buddy, that's the semantics of the whole thing

22:52It doesn't matter because if you don't have all that and a fast TTK back in the day not as big of a deal If you have all that and a fast TTK now that's a fucking problem Is it not because you're dying faster because people can shoot but know about you dude But I don't feel like I'm really fucking evading a whole lot of shots anymore not on this beta I didn't like you know, you know what's he's I didn't change anything Hardly at all. I I had to go in in the middle of the first match I'm like goddamn. I'm moving slow as hell and change my FOV You know from 95 to 120 or whatever, but I didn't have to change anything I don't know why but I felt like like I did go in and look and my sensitivity was the same on this game as it was on black ops Yeah, so that's what I'm saying. I think it might have I didn't have to change anything But to your point. Yeah, there's a hell of a lot more settings and different things you can click to help you shoot now compared to what we had back in the day That is one that's factual You know you just said oh yeah, there's less latency more precision

23:54They want to have everybody everyone is looking for an advantage. What is it that they said of you and it's Obviously not cheating, but it's like if you if you're not cheating You're not trying if you're not trying to maximize your advantages through the settings Then you're not you're not really fucking trying you know But yeah, no, I think Well, and the other thing is too is I mean I don't really remember the aim assist thing even being a conversation until 2019 And that was when they forced cross-plat You know, and then then it became more of like a mainstream conversation And that's how you know cod is also back because if there people are talking about fucking aim assist and matchmaking and then you throw casual Playlists in there now. We're fucking back, baby. They're at a disadvantage J I was gonna go back and play mouse and key on this game. They're ain't no fucking way. I'm doing that now No way they should just have input based matchmaking problem solved Dude, I my son is on mouse and key. I'll walk in there and watch him play He's just in there shitting on kids with that map dude. It's pretty awesome. He's getting really good at it

24:56But those are my people and and those are my people you will hear no m&k slander from me after spending four months of doing that every single day I'll never complain about mouse and key players ever again. They're my people Buck, all you controller players is almost a You just laid out on me you son of a bitch No, I just I figured I actually look and see how long have I been playing for it. You know by the way my pings were pretty good pretty solid this weekend and last never really lagged. I felt like I had Mostly good latency. I mean there were a few times where I'm like I'm already around the corner how am I getting fucking shot? You know and then you see the kill cam or whatever right which aren't you right kind of in the middle of that anyway?

There's a roof on it And there's a salt my kid caught a two week comms back You today heard the day before nice Yeah, I just done install I uninstalled the beta already. I won't be playing it today. I don't I hit 30 change. I don't really care. I'm not anywhere close. I'm gonna play it for sure and I you know again That's with with that said I like I said I'll still criticize that game when I need to sure, you know, but I'm gonna play it um You know, I don't really have anything else to play um, I don't know although I may give war dogs a try when it comes out We'll have to see about that. I keep hearing it. Yeah, here are a bunch of good things about that That's cool, but no, I you know I still feel the same way. I'll give I'll give it a seven out of a ten from a beta standpoint um, I thought it was relatively smooth Overall not a lot of glitches or issues um the aesthetics of the game

27:04I like it like the colors like I said last week like they popped on on those maps especially the the ones where you're like In the Korean Times Square type area. I think silkworm is what it was Like I thought that was a good looking map. Even that hard point on that map is is rough too But yeah, that beat that that bravo spawn there right right there where it is is fucking terrible It really is so but yeah like I I I thought it was um I thought it was a overall a decent beta. I mean, I'm still I'm still planning on buying it Um, you know, we'll just have to see what kind of matchmaking fuckery like that was a big topic of the week and and I mean honestly I thought all of it was sweaty. I played the closed playlist a little bit I played the open playlist. It was all fucking sweaty You know, and I think that's probably part of it Yeah, a lot of people quit so the only ones that are playing it are people who'd been playing it all year and And everything. I mean, I've noticed like my last month on black ops 7 specifically It's it's been harder the last month than it was before that, you know

28:08um, I find myself just getting shit on a lot more than than usual I'm still running, you know positive numbers Um for the most part, but but yeah, and I'll tell you on this beta sure as fuck didn't There are some games where like dude I think there's like two games in a row I was like one and seven off rip for both and I was like Kali made it's hard to come back from that inflation I never got around to try and I wish I had I told you I was no, I so Saturday that's all I played Was or not Saturday, but Friday that's all I played I played like two games of the multi and then jigsie was ready to play some resurgence so we played that and I was questioning my life choices the first two games Or so just getting absolutely dunked on because I'm not a resurgence player. I'm not I'm terrible at it um, and then the uh yesterday when we played it was all multi I've only played for like three hours yesterday though, so here we go

29:09Yeah, yeah, I mean it's it just felt ridiculously fast at times for me could have been a skill issue I mean lord knows I have him uh, you know Um, but yeah, I mean it felt really fast. I mean obviously like we were talking earlier you T decay doesn't fucking matter at all when you get one tap to the marksman rifle anyway You know what I mean like yeah, when the so I may or may not have tea bagged and shot some bodies yesterday because of people running that and the shotgun Um, yeah, so anyway, but but no, I thought overall dude I think it's gonna be a decent year hopefully they they don't do anything fucking crazy I'm anxious to see about the new big map for warzone, but it's like I just wonder what they're gonna do with the playlist man I mean did you see how everybody and and honestly dude? I kind of if I was like wanting to play resurgence I'd lose my shit over this dude where they did fucking I think like casual is on for like a whole day and like you couldn't even play regular resurgence

30:15I didn't load it up because of that. I was like fuck that. I'm not contributing to their numbers Make them both available because people are pussy. So what do you think I'm gonna say about that? No, no, I know I know But the problem is it's it's one of those things right like I'm not disagreeing with you But you know when they say that perception is reality. I feel like a lot of times perception couldn't be further from reality because again statistically Let's not people act like that's gonna happen every single match It happens one match fucking take your lump move on or leave the goddamn lobby. You know what I mean like Jesus It's not like it's gonna happen every fucking match. Well, you know what dude at the end of the day I think what you're gonna have happened now is if if they keep with this casual nonsense you're not gonna be able to tell a difference between the two Because the sweats are just gonna say fuck you and they're gonna go ruin the casual experience too. They're going to Next up next up. Yeah, I would even getting that. I mean J. Rock will tell you he's been in there when I've been playing solos

31:23And I'm like that has to be a fuck of bot like there is no way this is a human no way You know and it's crazy although How well if they're bad at the game they're gonna be bad anyway. I mean Well, that's you know something else that I noticed Over that that that trend that you showed way more research and players than regular big map players in the beta But there was no big map in the fucking beta dude I that was a joke gotcha bitch No No, you know what you may be right. I don't know you may be right because the way they fucking more or less Ignored and treated big map like the bastard stepchild for the last two or three years you may be right because Their data says otherwise You may be right. Yeah, I don't map is I still would give my left nut. I legitimately would If I could see on a regular basis dollars spent versus hour to place that that's the one piece of data that I covet more than any other piece of data ever I think we lost sub Son of a can you guys hear me appreciate it? But yeah, that's the data that I would love to see

33:28I would love to see hours played versus dollars spent And I'll tell you why Part of it's because I suspect that the whole theory that the guys that play three hours a week the casuals or whatever the ones that drive the dollars spent I suspect that that is not truly the case. It's just the way I feel like the way I feel about it Because I to me it's hard. It's it's a hard concept to swallow that's Somebody's gonna spend a Lot of money on something that they don't even care enough to play a lot right that that that would be the equivalent I haven't played golf since 2019 But that'd be the equivalent of me starting to go to the driving range and then buying new clubs new shoes new everything And I hadn't even played or that I'm only gonna play the game once every four months like that would not make fucking sense Well, the other thing is to a litter and and I'm not the only one that's ever said this They need to separate the two man stop

34:29Let warzone be its own thing let multi be its own thing and stand on its own merits Keep warzone free and stop tying the two together because I feel like that's a large part of the problem in my opinion Yeah, but the stupid thing is is they don't have to when knocked him offline again that sucks Yeah, the stupid thing is they don't have to I don't I don't feel like they Really have to they don't have to depend on that if they just did if they did good content for warzone right And good like good like warzone could pay for itself or whatever if they were doing good content for there And if they did good content for multiplayer that's all they'd have to do man Jesus. 35:33Did you guys watch the Netflix thing for GTA dude? It's actually pretty cool J rock I think it was pretty cool. It showed a lot about the game It kind of makes me sad that it's not gonna be on PC off rip because like I legitimately want to play that game Like I liked the combat the driving like just everything I saw that I think that game for the people who Love Grand Theft Auto. I think that game is going to be legit for them Graphically it looked beautiful. No, it's there's not spoilers It's like a little side mission that they run you through on there. You do seriously. Jay they never supported it really to be honest Yeah, they rolled it out But it never had all the squad sizes and if it did not for very long then I can really remember and now it's only It's quads only so guys like myself can't even really play that mode. They took away solos So now the data is gonna say that nobody played it. So there you go You know, so yeah, I don't I don't think we'll get that And I thought that mode was awesome and it's no surprise that my numbers are better on that mode than regular war zone Yeah, and I don't know why they tend to do that with the playlist. It's very frustrating to me You know like Have all four squad sizes for resurgence and ranked have all four squad sizes for regular br and ranked Have all four squad sizes or yeah, you probably don't need solos and casuals But have trios and duo or quads and casuals or whatever

I agree, but they'll never do it Yeah, they'll they'll never do it and I think whoever thought that bringing that mode to war zone Whoever came up with that should be loaded up in a rocket ship and fired straight into the sun Because they've done irreparable damage to war zone And the player experience A lot of people just don't know it yet. Yeah, we're definitely stuck with that mode a literate And again, that's why I opposed it from the day they released it. I thought it was a bad idea They should have had a training mode where it like locked you in like certain if you're above a certain rank or a certain KD You are not getting in there that is for people who are trying to learn the game. I mean, I hope so but dude I thought that about gray zone. I thought that about x to fire. I thought that about My favorite cod gun of all time It would be the a cr. Yeah, I played gray zone. We actually interviewed Rick Um from mad finger games on the podcast the only reason I stopped playing gray zone is because uh, I had stopped having people to play it with
