Episode 124: LifeSaver Brandon Griffith

Gravity Podcast

About this episode

This week, Chris sat down with cardiac arrest survivor and reserve deputy sheriff Brandon Griffith. Brandon was 26-years-old and in the prime of his health when he had a sudden cardiac arrest, dying in his living room. It was because of the effective CPR performed by his wife, the first police officer on scene, and the defibrillation by paramedics that brought him back. Post-cardiac arrest, Brandon returned to active duty as a police officer. Brandon founded Griffith Blue Heart Non-profit and provides training and support to law enforcement agencies around the country with the aim of getting better equipment and training in the hands of law enforcement officers.
