Episode 122: The Mystery of Mars Part 2

Summary:

Scott and John discuss possibilities concerning an interplanetary war in the ancient past that wrought ruin and destruction across the solar system. Did the angelic rebellion cause God to obliterate a 5th planet from the sun which devastated the surface of nearby Mars, our moon and other planets? Is the asteroid belt the remnant of this planet? Is Mars connected symbolically to Edom in the Bible? Lets discover!

Edom was the archenemy of Israel. A peculiar contempt for the Edomites is manifest in the scriptures, as they are the recipients of more pronouncements of judgment than any other nation.

In the same way that the nation Israel was representative of the kingdom of heaven on Earth, so Edom was representative of its ancient extraterrestrial adversary.”

Takeaway:

Our solar system appears to be reeling in the wake of devastation. Since we contend the ruin/reconstruction theory of earth is true in Genesis 1, why would the other planets not have been involved in God’s wrath against satan and his angels? Perhaps God has encrypted the secrets of a long forgotten war that took place before man was created! Is the surface of Mars showing evidence of this ancient battle?
