Originally from New York City, Ray lives and ministers in Newark’s ethnically and economically diverse urban core. In this episode Ray speaks with Nick Cady about loving your listeners and helping your hearers by “putting the cookies on the shelf where they can reach them,” i.e. knowing your context so that you can make the truth of God’s word accessible to your listeners.
