About this episode
In this episode, we talked about how illness can arrive for children when they have more accumulated feelings. We shared about the different choices parents have about to respond to feelings when children are sick. We emphasised how hard sickness can be in nuclear families and how much extra support is essential during times of illness. We offered ideas for what parents can do after their children have been ill in regard to painful feelings. We talked about the power of attachment play if visits to health professionals are required. We also shared our experiences of learning we've experienced from times of illness.
