Enfield is an extremely small town, located about 5 hours south of Chicago, taking up a total area of only 1.19 square miles, with a population of just under 600 people. Well, in 1973, Enfield, Illinois was at the epicenter of one of the most famous American cryptids, known simply as: The Enfield Horror or The Enfield Monster. What was The Enfield Monster?
