Craig Curtis – Satcom Direct Craig has a very extensive background in aviation, starting in the military and then continuing on to work in commercial, cargo and private aviation. He touched on how important operational control/dual planning is to running a successful flight department.  Additionally, he talks about the sharing of all information is critical within a flight department and and including the Scheduler/Dispatcher in the planning stages, educating them on the performance of the aircraft, possible maintenance concerns, and facilities required at an FBO, including how critical the size of the fuel truck is!  Craig highlights the fact that one of the most critical parts of a flight is the planning stages, anticipating and not waiting for things to go wrong.
