Epenesa Leaves Bills for Browns' Rebuild

The veteran is signing a one-year deal worth $5 million with the Cleveland Browns where he'll line up alongside star Miles Garrett. Epinisa joined Buffalo in the second round of the 2020 draft out of Iowa. Over six seasons, he appeared in 91 games with 19 starts, tallying 135 tackles, 24 sacks, five forced, fumbles, and four picks. He peaked with six and a half sacks in both 2022 and 2023, even earning a two-year extension. This past season brought just two and a half sacks and 32 tackles, leaving Bills fans hoping for his return amid thin death. The move sends him from a contender to a Browns team mired in rebuilds since their 1999 return. Cleveland scraped five wins last year, up from three and 14 the season before.
