About this episode
Kathleen Peterson was a very accomplished woman. She was smart, beautiful, and had a high powered executive position. She had a married a writer named Michael Peterson and for both of them it was their second marriage. On December 9th, 2001, Michael called 911 to say that he had found Kathleen at the bottom of the stairs.
Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the death of Kathleen Peterson and the legal roller coaster that would follow for her husband Michael Peterson. This legal odyssey would end with Peterson taking an Alford plea in 2017. So while this is technically a solved case, there are so many outstanding questions surround Kathleen's death that we thought we would talk about it on Unsolved.
