大肚子河马的故事告诉我们，要学会尊重别人、懂得分享与礼貌。在一个温暖的好天气，小河马出去溜达。它看见鸭子和鱼儿在河里游泳，就跳进去把它们都赶走了；看见鳄鱼在骑小人车，就抢过来把车子压坏了；看见狮子在喝东西，它也一把抢过来喝光了…小河马这么粗鲁、不讲礼貌，朋友们渐渐都不喜欢跟它玩了。最后，小河马终于明白了做事要懂得尊重别人、学会礼让，这样才能交到好朋友。

The story of The Big-Bellied Hippo teaches us the importance of respecting others, sharing, and using good manners. On a lovely warm day, Little Hippo went out for a walk. He saw ducks and fish swimming and intentionally jumped into the water, chasing them away. He saw a Crocodile riding a toy car, intentionally grabbed it, and broke it. Then he saw a Lion drinking, and snatched the drink for himself. Because of his rude and selfish behavior, none of the animals wanted to play with him anymore. In the end, Little Hippo learned that being kind, respectful, and considerate is how we make true friends.

So little ones, let’s remember to always be kind, respect others, and share happily - that’s how we build beautiful friendships!
