About this episode
Bonnie Lee Bakely grew up poor in a dysfunctional household. She told herself that one day she would be rich and famous. As she got older she tried to infuse herself into the inner circles of many different celebrities, first in Memphis, then in Los Angeles. It would be in Los Angeles where she would meet actor Robert Blake. They would eventually get married and have a child together. But one night after a meal at an Italian restaurant Bonnie was shot and killed. Robert Blake would eventually become the prime suspect.
Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the life of Bonnie Lee Bakely and Robert Blake along with the eventual murder of Bonnie. Were the authorities correct in their suspicions of Robert Blake? Their theory involved an associate of Blake's that they believed was the paid hitman. Listen to find out how everything played out.
