In 1935, a man calling himself Roland T. Owen checked into the Hotel President in Kansas City, Missouri. After a strange series of events took place in the hotel he was found in his room in a pool of blood. Doctors were unable to save this man and he died. The mystery deepened as the authorities could not confirm his identity.
Join Mike and Gibby as they discuss the mysterious murder in room 1046 at the hotel President. Police later learned that the man had checked into another Kansas City hotel using a different name. Who murdered this John Doe and why? There were a number of interesting characters in the hotel around the time of his death but police could never put it all together. A woman came forward claiming this person was her son but was he really?
