About this episode
In this final series chapter, our friends Fran and Jorge let us know how life evolved in Spain once the Civil war was over. WWII was rumbling on early stages, pressures to the dictator from the fascist Germany and Italy at the time, expecting to have favours returned, while the population was struggling to survive with families divided due to the conflict.
Them both also share with us personal stories and insights from the post war times, viewing them with a silver linen as time as gone by.
They both hope you have enjoyed this Spanish Civil war series. Sometimes, remembering dark personal times in families is not an easy piece of cake, and they hope history does not repeat itself for a very long time.
Happy listening!!
