Jim's special guest today is Evan Owens.  Evan and his wife, Dr. Jenny Owens, are co-founders of the non-profit organization REBOOT Recovery.  The vision for REBOOT is to mobilize the largest peer-led response to trauma and suicide ever built!  Mental health is a serious and growing problem and traditional providers just can't keep up with demand.  REBOOT offers a peer-led, faith-based, group solution that is available to everyone.  No insurance companies involved, only a caring community of people who want to help and provide hope and support.   

Jim and Evan talk about the path that led to what would eventually become REBOOT.  According to Evan, it all started with 2 dudes named Matt and a lady named Darlene meeting in their living room in 2011.  They also break out into some leadership tips and advice.  Evan gets a little fired up on the topic of Church leaders often not taking on the mental health needs of their own communities.  The whole podcast is a lively discussion of the state of mental health in today's culture.  You will definitely learn something.  Don't miss it!
