About this episode
Does one-on-one professional career coaching and mentoring really work? If you ask Elijah Camara (the student) and Carrie Esker (the coach), the answer is a resounding yes! In this episode of The Today Counts Show Jim talks with Elijah and Carrie about their story.
Elijah spent most of his childhood in Africa until he moved to the United States to live with his sister when he was in the fifth grade. After playing football in high school and college, his dream of becoming a professional athlete began to fade in college. After graduation, he began his post-college career working in sales at a car dealership. Little did Elijah know that a chance meeting between his boss and Carrie Esker would lead him to Carrie for some career coaching. Carrie's coaching and mentoring soon changed Elijah's life in more ways than he would have ever imagined.
Listen to Elijah and Carrie's inspiring story of hard work, growth and faith!
