About this episode
Meredith never thought she’d be the person fighting with alcohol and the need to drink. Not a single drink passed through her lips in high school but the wheels came off in college. Once she started drinking nothing could make her stop - not a career, cancer, children, or a global pandemic. Drinking became second nature. Amazingly it was a small and somewhat insignificant fight with her husband that made her realize she wanted to stop fighting with alcohol. Annie Grace and Meredith get into conversations around the lie of drinking in order to feel free, how rock bottom can be something others would consider small, how alcohol can manipulate even the shrewdest and most independent people, how to start small with taking control and so much more.
