Ep 38 - Reviewing Kovalev vs Yarde, Lomachenko vs Campbell, and More

We review the following fights: Sergey Kovalev vs Anthony Yarde and Vasyl Lomachenko vs Luke Campbell.  Yarde put up a valiant effort against Kovalev, as he almost had the esteemed veteran on his last legs by the end of Round 9.  Kovalev, with experience on his side, turned the tables around by Round 10 and resumed to punish the energy depleted Yard with piston jabs.  Eventually, Kovalev would KO Yarde in the 11th with a counter jab.  The panel assesses the performances of both fighters as well as their next steps in their respective careers.  Does Kovalev go for the big payday in facing Canelo Alvarez or unify with one of the other champions in the Light Heavyweight division?

Like Kovalev, Vasyl Lomachenko had a game opponent of his own in Luke Campbell in their 12 round showdown.  Campbell made it a highly competitive fight for Lomachenko as he was able to stun The Matrix in some of the exchanges.  However, Lomachenko would prove to be too skillful as he hurt Campbell multiple times to the body leading to him taking a knee in the 11th.  Lomachenko now wins his 3rd belt in his 4th weight class.  How further can Lomachenko go in the Lighweight division as the likes of Teofimo Lopez, Devin Haney, and Richard Commey make more buzz?
