This week we’re joined by Dave Owens of the Pinhoti Project to help get us all count down the days to bow season. Dave recently killed a great buck during the TN velvet season and tells the story. We also talk about scouting techniques, camera placement, how he uses a tree saddle and the difficulty of filming a hunt by yourself. We break down soft and hard mast, their preference by whitetails and try to help listeners know where to look for each species. It’s a good one.
