In this episode, we’re going over something that has held true since the inception of D&D as a medium. Player Character Backstories have and are being used by many tabletop roleplaying games. Each player controls one character. And that character has a backstory. This includes their history, their background, and their connections to the world’s locations and people. The backstory is usually the experiences that character had before the adventure, but it can be much more than that. Let’s talk about how DMs can help set them up and use them in the game!
