EP:314 | Dr. Chamberlain Explains Egg Shell Wild Turkey Genetics
About this episode
This week we are joined by Dr. Mike Chamberlain and discuss his latest research and projects around our beloved wild turkey. We try to stay abreast of Mikes turkey focused research. Our group was fascinated to hear about the egg shell genetics study and what it helps scientists understand. We were also very excited to hear about the advent of the Wild Turkey DNA Lab and potentially learning many details about the family tree of each subspecies. Of course we talked about more, like losing luggage in Africa, and just what does the turkeys snood do? It’s a good one. Listen, Learn and Enjoy.
