Ep. 30 - Storyteller and the Homelessness Problem
About this episode
This week, Mason abstains from the drink and Jake brings two wines. Storyteller Pinot Noir and a Kagor out of Ukraine. The Kagor review provided by Jake’s wife, Viktoriia.
The guys return to a topic involving the Willamette Valley in Oregon and discuss legislation being pushed that could potentially cause problems for some growers and benefit others.
Jake and Mason also discuss an article from “The Stranger” by Eli Sanders that presents a pretty agrigious characterization of the libertarian position on homelessness and possible solutions. The boys then discuss possible free market solutions, the way the state makes homelessness worse and and a Mises article responding to the article in “The Stranger” by Jacob G. Hornberger.
