About this episode
In episode 295, Steve talks about the difference between mold and mycotoxins. Mycotoxins are produced by toxigenic mold colonies. Once mycotoxins have been released, they can end up anywhere in your home.
It's important to understand that mold remediation doesn't typically remove the mycotoxins in the home. You must perform a SPC (small particle cleaning) after the mold infestations have been removed by the remediation contractor.
