EP 26: Walking the Edge with Joe Eppele. How many hills do we have left?

Talk Is Sheep

About this episode

Kyle and Steve down with former professional CFL player Joe Eppele to discuss ACT NOW. Joe is a dedicated BC hunter and experienced backcountry guy that is passionate about making sure our hunter heritage is preserved.

We discuss the Wild Sheep Society of BC's ACT NOW campaign, and address some of the concerns we have heard about the campaign. We also look at the position paper, "Large carnivore hunting and the social license to hunt," that challenges science-based wildlife management. Joe discusses the concept of Social Licence to Hunt/Operate. Here is the link to paper in reference:

If you share our concerns about these new campaigns that move away from science-based wildlife management and pose a threat to our hunting opportunities, let your voice be heard at: https://www.wildsheepsociety.com/actnow/
