It's not often you wake up one day and think "I know what I'll do next... I'll run across the US!", but that's pretty much how Ashley Schneider started on her journey that has seen her cross the US multiple times. 

Quitting her job on a cruise ship and moving back to Wisconsin to plan, Ashley knew she wanted to run across the US in aid of raising money to support multiple sclerosis charities, a disease that affected her mother. Little did she realise that the whole first run across the States would result in the organisation that is today MS Run The US, that takes hundreds of ordinary runners and allows them to join in an epic journey.

Jody and David speak with Ashley about the moment of her epiphany, how she prepared for that first race and the challenge of raising money and co-ordinating runners from all across the US.
