Ep.18 New moon rituals and intentions for 2025! 🌚
About this episode
When teaching kids how to breathe, it’s important to remember that in the beginning, it’s not about getting the technique perfect. It’s about helping them focus on breathing—just in and out. When a child is feeling overwhelmed or anxious, the most powerful thing they can do is slow down and connect with their breath, no matter how it comes in. They don’t need to worry about whether it’s through the nose or mouth; what matters is that they’re breathing.
Think of it like a balloon—if the air keeps going in but never comes out, it bursts. But if they focus on letting the air in and out slowly, they’ll feel calmer. The key is to teach them that the simple act of breathing is enough. Over time, their technique will improve, but for now, just breathing is the first step to finding calm and control.
