世界上有一部分人因為有視覺障礙，看不到而造成生活不便，如果可以讓視障者有東西輔助，就不會有生活不便的問題！
因為這幾年AI工智慧技術的蓬勃發展，現在有專家研發出「AI輔助視障者背包」！
2021年3月24日，INTEL發表一個「AI輔助視障者背包」的概念設計。這個設計的大功臣是喬治亞大學的電腦視覺與人工智慧專家Jagadish K. Mahendran。會有這個想法是因為他還在讀碩士班時，研究應用在機器人的電腦視覺，某天他跟一位視障朋友碰面，他突然想到我成天想要讓機器人『看得到』，但有些人因為看不到而生活不便，這不是本末倒置嗎？因此開始進行「行人視覺輔助系統」的研究！
