About this episode
We welcome Chuck Peeling to the podcast to talk sheep hunting, conservation, ethics, horn aging, and a cool new platform that Chuck and Blake Peeling are heading up called Spike Camp.
Chuck has been a life-long hunter and started hunting sheep in the past ten years. He got hooked and has not looked back since making the journey into the mountains an annual event. For sheep hunters sorting through whether or not to fly, hike, pack or jet boat in Chuck and Kyle sift through the options.
Chuck's fall plans include taking the jet boat in for sheep for the BC opener with his sheep-hunting partner Blake. We discuss the pros and cons of using a transporter and other options available.
We also introduce Spike Camp, a new communications platform designed for all hunters that is a safe space to learn, explore and share. Chuck and Blake have invited a select few dedicated conservation organizations to Spike Camp and membership is free if you are a WSSBC, RMGA or WSFAB member. Check it out at spikecamp.com
Enjoy the listen.
