監察院102年對於財政部選任鄭深池擔任交銀董事長以及出任民股代表並出任兆豐金控董事長，認為主管機關涉有違失，監察院主要看法有3項
1. 財政部指派非屬國家行局代表鄭董擔任交銀董事，相關作為核有未當，應予檢討。
2. 財政部92年掌控兆豐金董事席次過半，本應推選公股代表擔任董事長，卻認命鄭董由公股代表身分轉為民股代表身分。難免引發社會輿論圖利之負面評價。
3. 95年6月兆豐金董事長遴選過程，凸顯職位之重要性，主管機關當引以為鑑，誤蹈覆轍。
