Ep #121 - The Summer I Stopped ‘Shoulding’ Myself
About this episode
After a gorgeous summer break, I’m back — and this episode is a bit of a catch-up on what the last few weeks have taught me.
From having a completely phone-free week, to navigating the change that comes with teenage boys becoming more independent, to unexpectedly climbing a mountain I absolutely did not enjoy, there have been plenty of opportunities to watch my brain in action.
I’m also sharing why I spent part of the summer working behind a bar and pot washing at weddings, what that brought up for me, and some of the thoughts I’ve been having about my business and what I want next.
This episode is really about change, choice and giving yourself enough space to notice what you actually want — rather than automatically following all the things you think you should be doing.
If you’ve been rushing, pushing, overthinking or feeling like something needs to shift, this one might give you a few things to think about.
