說到量子力學就會提到科學家薛丁格，對量子力學有極大的貢獻，像是著名的「薛丁格的貓」探討貓咪在一個封閉的盒子裡並有一個裝有氰化氫氣體的瓶子和放射性物質，薛丁格表示貓咪在盒子裡同時處於「死掉」與「活著」的疊加態。那假設量子磁吸假睫毛套用此原理，可能會同時處於「黏得住」以及「黏不住」的疊加態喔！
