EP 107: Asking For Help As A Form Of Resilience with Nancy White

About this episode

Nancy White joined us today and shared her personal stories about why asking for help is a form of resilience. Her own story is one of resilience with the most challenging life event being just two years ago when her husband was diagnosed with Lewy body dementia. She become a living widow, responsible for every single decision and keeping everything operating for their home, livelihood and family. Her favorite story of resilience is still being written and includes her remarkable daughter and best friend. Her daughter has been an advocate for her dad

from the beginning of his onset with dementia with all his doctors. She has been Nancy’s guardian angel, helping to adjust living conditions in their home, watching out for Nancy emotionally and doing deeds of kindness.
