But how…. My name is Roger Kugler and I've been a woodworker for over 50 years. For the past 20 years, I've operated a one-man shop servicing the local community.   

My goal is to encourage you to consider woodworking as a profession, either full-time or part-time. There is a real need for custom furniture and cabinet makers right now. Many craftsmen are aging out of the trades leaving a void that needs to be filled.

Who is this podcast geared towards? Everyone! Retired folks, out-of-work, stay at home parent, college graduate, HS graduate, yers, car mechanics, accountants, office workers, even famous actors or politicians 

I’ll try to answer all your questions about operating a solo enterprise and give you solid information about the pros….and cons…. of working as a professional woodworker.
