It's a great result and I'm delighted, but Tom make the matter, you know, he's a grinder. He's had a hard time with it. He has invested a lot of money and, you know, that the end is home for him. And he's absolutely thrilled. I mentioned that, you know, that at the center, we'll comment there was a 1.6 million investment, which is great for the town, great employment, and, you know, it's, it's great, it was really. And I suppose just to clue listeners in at this point for those of you may not remember, this project started all the way back in 2020, when I first went to planning permission and it was included as part of the NS-2040 strategy. It was objective to, on Commission Planola, upheld the planning decision. It was firstly objective to take into just a review, rather, as several environmental groups felt that the environmental impact assessment didn't adequately concern the welfare of the leasler bat. The high court then ruled that that wasn't contentious enough to halt the plans.
So the final issue that was up for debate was a derogation license, but the high court once again has ruled in favor of our data centers and now it's paving the way for a 1.6 billion euro development and up to 450 jobs to be created here as well. So I know there are critics of the data center, but on the surface, a lot of positives as well. Pretty good news, sir, you know, but I mean, we're listening to me hang out in every day, supporting data centers and the way the town might get the struggle to get this notice was outgoing, but the result is there now, and I'm absolutely delighted by Tom and himself and the lady family out there, he's in large and, you know, this is on that problem, it would be built, and it's very close for the town and touring so I'm still here.
